BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Our members now have the resources to deal with the various complications our job can have, especially issues regarding emotional and psychological stress. Our members also have the help they need available to deal with problems in life that all of us sometime face, especially stressful situations that can extend to our personal and family lives.
Moving away from the traditional EAP gives our members immediate access to help with skilled professionals familiar in the fire service. Many EAP providers are not familiar with the fire service and therefore do not know what help to provide for our members. Dr. Scott and associates are available 24/7 for any member needing professional assistance
for counseling and psychological support. The Department is committed to our members and will cover the cost of three-two hour sessions for anyone needing help.
